ECRI’s 16th annual edition of the Healthcare Standards: Official Directory and daily-updated Health Care Standards (HCS) indexes more than 36,500 new and updated titles of health care standards, clinical guidelines, and other official documents, plus US federal and state health care–related laws and regulations. The directory includes citations from more than 1,500 issuing organizations in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia. This directory is used by clinicians, attorneys, legal nurse consultants, risk managers, insurers, patient safety officers, and medical and legal librarians to locate standards of care, research medical malpractice cases, reduce liability exposures, and assess risk management procedures.
