Helmer’s i.Series™ blood bank refrigerators and plasma storage freezers feature the i.Center™ Integrated Monitoring System. The i.Center offers automatic alarm testing, a self-monitoring refrigeration system, and a password protected configuration page for security and monitoring. It also includes an event log with alarm dates and times, and a 24-hour, on-screen temperature graph. Each i.Series refrigerator and freezer features a stainless-steel interior, bacteria-resistant exterior and door handles, and dual stainless steel monitoring probes in product simulation bottles.
     The i.Series plasma storage freezers are equipped with a programmable electric refrigeration system defrost. Programming defrost cycles to the actual time desired allows them to run automatically during low-use time periods. Refrigeration performance is recorded in the i.Center defrost log. The ColdShield™ system improves recovery performance and eliminates the need for an inner door. The i.Series blood bank refrigerator features a Sure-Seal self-closing door with heated glass and Scratch-Guard drawer edge protectors. It is available in both single and double models with the capacity to hold 280 to 720 whole blood bags.
