Prothrombin Time Testing

For anticoagulant therapy

The ProTime® Microcoagulation System for prothrombin time testing is designed to better monitor the clotting activity of blood, and to safely manage anticoagulant therapy in patients with conditions such as mechanical heart valves or atrial fibrillation. .
The ProTime® system is the first CLIA-waived and FDA-cleared system for anticoagulant therapy. The system is easy for physicians and patients to use, and includes all elements necessary for testing such as a reagent cuvette and the Tenderlett® incision device. A finger stick sample is collected and within minutes, the device analyzes the blood and provides an international normalized ratio or prothrombin. The patient then transmits the results to a patient monitoring service that works in tandem with physicians to help oversee the patient's therapy.
