LimsLinkCDS adds new menu items to ChemStation Plus that allow analysts to access laboratory information management systems (LIMS) from within the CDS application. Access to the menu is controlled by the ChemStation Plus security system, eliminating the need for a separate log on to use the interface. LimsLinkCDS also integrates with the ChemStation Plus audit trail to track activity such as connecting to LIMS, selecting work lists, creating sequences, and reporting results.
     LIMS work lists can be selected from directly within ChemStation Plus, and analysts can view and edit them. Sequence can be automatically assigned to the front or back injector on a GC. Date and counter macros can then be used to automatically create unique sequence names. The final ChemStation Plus sequence can be approved by the analyst before being transferred directly to the CDS.
