Human Liver Toxicity Array
For gene expression analysis
The MGX human liver toxicity array provides a sensitive and convenient method to determine which toxicologically relevant genes are switched on or off in a specific process or by a specific substance. When used in high throughput comparative analysis, the MGX array will aid in the identification of marker genes whose expressions correlate with liver toxicity. The array contains 80 genes. The complete system consists of three main components: the Flow-Thru Chip, a platform containing a network of ordered micro-channels and precise fluid manipulation; the MGX 2000, a microfluidic assay controller that allows researchers to perform automated hybridizations; and the MGX 1200CL, a CCD camera-based detection station. The pre-installed MetriSoft software package is included for image capture and analysis. MetriGenix Inc (301) 987-1716; www.metrigenix.com
