The Eclipse 90i microscope is designed to meet the optical demands of digital imaging technology for a broad range of applications including cell biology, drug discovery, biochemistry, molecular biology, genomics, and pathology.
     The 90i features Nikon’s new VC Plan APO Optics advances in the utilization of fluorescence technology. The 90i also offers an ergonomic design and advanced software that allows users to focus more on research and less on adjusting manual settings between optical observations and imaging techniques. With a fully automated platform, the 90i’s DIH-E (digital imagine head) includes the Epi-Fluorescence six-position filter turret, field diaphragm, electronic shutter, optical zoom (0.8X to 2.0X), and light distribution selection between the observation binocular and the two incorporated light ports for image collection.
