Upgraded features of the SterilGARD® III Advance Class II, Type A2 biological safety cabinet includes improved ease of use and serviceability. The redesigned system also offers an enlarged viewing area measuring 92 x 140 inches, which is slanted 10° for natural head and arm position. This design of the cabinet places the work surface within easy reach, and the new proximity switches replace mechanical limit switches for viewscreen height alarm.
     The contemporary controls featured on the SterilGard III include monitoring, communication, and data-management options for a variety of applications. The electrical components are consolidated outside the containment area for easy service, and offset petcocks are easier to connect and use. The reduced front grill depth, in addition to the slim profile of the lower plenum, moves work closer to laptop level for the most comfortable position.
