Unlike standard polypropylene products, the wall surfaces of AdvanTip™ LT tips are completely free of occlusions and cavities. This is achieved through a modification to the polypropylene resin combined with the use of smooth, diamond-polished molds. Because no secondary chemicals, such as silicone, are added, the possibility of sample leaching and performance inconsistencies is eliminated. The tips are ideal for use in critical applications, such as quantitative PCR, where the target DNA is present in very small quantities. The highest yield of enzymes of DNA can be transferred during testing procedures, reducing reagent cost by 10% to 15%.
