SAVe Diluent (sample addition verifier) provides visual verification that samples have been added when preparing manual assays or running automated pipetting platforms. The reagent changes from a light yellow to bright purple when serum is added. Controls and calibrators used in the ELISA II assays use the same SAVe diluent and react in the same way as patient serum samples. Use of SAVe increases confidence that the well has been missed, assuring high-quality results.
ELISA II IgG test systems available with SAVe include the EBV markers VCA, EBNA and early antigen, toxoplasma, rubella, cytomegalovirus and herpes, H. Pylori, measles, mumps, VZV, mycoplasma, legionella, ANA, dsDNA, ENA markers SS-A, SS-B, Sm, RNP, Scl-70 and Jo-1, ANCA, MPO, PR-3, thyroglobulin, TPO, cardiolipin, and gliadin.
