ZAP-70 is the newest addition to the menu of oncology markers offered by Esoterix. The marker is a prognostic indicator in B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL) that assists clinicians in assessing the risk of early progression in the B-CLL patient population. Recent studies show that the expression of ZAP-70 by chronic lymphocytic leukemia cells is a more reliable marker of disease progression than other prognostic indicators for the disease.
