The Peloris™ dual retort rapid tissue processor by Vision BioSystems™ has been designed to process more than 40% faster than the current industry standard. When combined with a 600-cassette capacity, Peloris delivers a three-fold improvement in throughput, dramatically improving laboratory turnaround times.
     The two independent processing retorts enable simultaneous processing of identical or different protocols and increase workflow productivity by allowing long runs in one retort and short runs in the other.
     Peloris offers all the features of a conventional tissue processor plus a xylene-free operating mode. Using isopropanol as a xylene substitute, Peloris addresses the growing concern about the use of hazardous chemicals in the workplace. The xylene-free feature, offered as an optional operating mode, is designed to deliver exceptional processing quality and a safer working environment.
