Hepatitis B Assay

Aids in the diagnosis of hepatitis B virus infections

The Anti-HBVc IgM assay is a fully automated test to be used with the company’s ADVIA Centaur® immunoassay system. The automated ADVIA Centaur system makes it easier for the laboratory to run assays in real time instead of in batches, which shortens the turnaround time for physicians.
Because they are used on the ADVIA system, anti-HBc-IgM and anti-HBs assays are ideal for medium and large laboratories. The addition of this assay to the ADVIA Centaur system allows laboratorians to eliminate any sample carryover and to enhance the level of automation in performing these assays. The system offers such features as software that provides automatic algorithm processing, cascade-reflex testing, user-defined panels, automatic repeats of critical samples, and sample and reagent integrity checks.
