Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics’ Ortho ProVue™, a fully automated blood-banking system, is now available for use with the company’s ID-Micro Typing System™ (ID-MTS) Gel Test™.
     ID-MTS is used in more than 1,800 hospitals and donor centers in North America to help ensure safe and effective blood transfusions. Integrating the ID-MTS Gel technology with Ortho ProVue is expected to improve the blood bank’s productivity and provide process control, which will increase blood safety.
