The GeneLine™ ImageSCI™ enclosed gel documentation system consists of a PC processor with installed acquisition and analysis software driving a 16-bit EDR performance CCD camera. The unit is light tight, ensuring that even the faintest bands can be captured. The all-in-one system features a processor hard drive, internal zip and floppy drive, keyboard and mouse, and a built-in 312 nm UV/white-light transilluminator with sample tray, which provides uniform light distribution and a long sample of preparation time.
     The ImageSCI contains its own computer with click-quick Image Source software for acquiring images instantly, as well as ImageAide analysis software for 1-D gels, 2-D colony plates, spot blots, and manual band matching and qualifications.
