Based on patented BioMag® superparamagnetic particle technology, the ProMax albumin removal kit allows researchers to remove albumin using fewer process steps than conventional methods. The kit includes magnetically responsive ProMax albumin removal particles, binding/wash buffer, and elution buffer. Using the company’s protocol, proteome researchers can effectively remove albumin and enrich their sample for less abundant serum proteins in 30 minutes or less. The ProMax system allows enrichment of less abundant serum proteins from 10 µL or less of serum and requires no filtration or centrifugation.
