Anti-Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide ELISA Test Kit
For rheumatoid arthritis
Clinical results of the anti-CCP kit demonstrate an important role for citrullinated antigens as an additional tool in the diagnosis of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The assay provides a diagnostic marker for RA with high sensitivity and specificity, and can help to differentiate RA from other inflammatory arthropathies. The anti-CCP test comes in a 96-well microtiter plate strip-well format that employs a second-generation peptide antigen. The kit features five calibrators, three controls, and a color-coded, liquid-stable staining system. The assay is performed in about 2 hours at room temperature and can use serum or plasma. Additionally, the kit has an 18-month shelf life and an open-kit stability of 3 months when refrigerated. Wampole Laboratories LLC (800) 257-9525; www.wampolelabs.com
