The extra-wide shield design of the DB-2 blood tube holder and shield provides protection from needle sticks and tiny droplets of blood that are sprayed when the needle is withdrawn from the vacuum tube. The tube’s design allows for the selection of two sizes, pediatric and 12 mm, for a total of four different combinations of tubes.
