Human Papillomavirus Test

Screens for 13 high-risk HPV types

The DNAwithPAP™ test provides sensitivity to cervical cancer screening programs. The clinical sensitivity for high-grade cervical disease and cancer can be as high as 100% when the DNAwithPAP test is used in conjunction with a Pap test for screening women age 30 years and older. In addition, the DNAwithPAP test is used as an objective risk indicator to identify women most likely to develop high-grade cervical disease or cancer.

The company’s proprietary Hybrid CaptureŽ 2 technology provides the platform for the DNAwithPAP assay. Compared to PCR, it is less prone to contamination and inhibition. Furthermore, it features high-throughput capabilities and can be performed in a single work area.
