The Prior NZ100 Nanopositioning Piezo Z stage is the latest addition to the ProScanII™ line of microscope automation products. Specifically designed for researchers utilizing deconvolution and 3D imaging, the NZ100 features 100 µm travel, one nanometer repeatability, and closed loop control utilizing a sub-angstrom resolution Piezo resistive sensor. The unit optimizes the speed of the newest digital cameras and accomplishes in milliseconds what used to take seconds for conventional rotary focus drives. The NZ100 is capable of USB or analog control and is compatible with most software packages programmed to control piezo objectives. The NZ100 allows for faster movement and sample settling time due to lower mass movement, enabling the imaging of Z stacks with multiple objectives and eliminating rotating wires that may twist and break.
