Color-coding labels of similar-looking media formulations decreases the risk of incorrect media identification, thus resulting in increased efficiency and organization. Having a label on the surface of the tube provides an ideal writing area on which to record important patient information without smearing or complete removal.
     Formulations such as Trypticase™ soy broth, GN broth, Enriched Thioglycollate broth, and Lim broth are available with color-coded tube labels.
