The True Liquid therapeutic drug monitoring control, a human serum-based liquid TDM, is intended for clinical laboratory use as a quantitative control for monitoring test procedures used to assay human specimens for determination of therapeutic drug levels. Results can be compared with expected ranges to ensure consistent reagent and equipment performance.
With excellent refrigerated stability, the three-level control does not require reconstitution. Additionally, it is stable for 24 months when stored unopened at 28°C, and provides 30-day open-vial stability at 28°C. The liquid TDM control includes 22 analytes, including acetoaminophen, amikacin, carbamazepine, digoxin, disopyramide, ethosuximide, gentamicin, imipramine, lidocaine, NAPA, nordiazepam, lithium, phenobarbital, phenytoin, procainamide, quinidine, salicylate, theophylline, tobramycin, valproic acid, and vancomycin.
