Carolina Chemistries has 10 bar coded and cartridged drugs of abuse reagent kits available for use on Synchron CX and LX chemistry analyzers. The urine kit tests for cannabinoid, opiate, amphetamine, cocaine, phencyclidine, methadone, propoxphene, barbiturate, benzodiazepine, and methaqualone.
     Carolina’s DAT reagent kits are liquid, ready to use, and stable onboard for 60 days with 7-day calibration stability. With a state-of-the-art methodology enzyme immunoassay, a precision of 2% is typically achieved.
     Bar coded DATs can be calibrated with only one set of calibrators. In other words, 10 Carolina DATs may be calibrated by filling only three cups, whereas other DATs require 30 different calibrator cups be filled. These DATs are designed to work specifically with Synchron CX and LX Systems and directly report either a positive or negative result.
