The Collect XL software from Labtronics is designed to integrate serial output such as RS232 and TCP/IP capable instruments and devices directly with Microsoft® Excel®, eliminating data entry errors while improving sample and test throughput. The software contains a library of preconfigured interfaces for more than 400 instrument models such as balances, pH/ISE/conductivity meters, density meters, stress gauges, and spectrophotometers. The interface does not rely on a cursor, enabling the software to handle numerous interfaces on a single computer. This feature allows users to work in other programs while data collection is active. Collect XL also supports bidirectional communication with serial instruments, set timed interval data collection, number of data points to collect, and time and date stamp results.
