Hacker offers optimized rapid tissue processing with its rapid tissue processor (RTP). The company’s microwave technology has been upgraded to process as many as 180 cassettes per run. The RTP houses a vacuum, a processing chamber, and a large touch-screen interface in one compact chassis. The RTP processes all tissue samples in less than 3 hours and biopsies in less than 30 minutes, enabling laboratories to deliver same-day diagnoses. Complete processing is accomplished in three steps, using just one reagent and paraffin.
     Temperature sensing is done through a noncontact system for safety and reliability, and all run procedures are documented and saved for quality assurance. Run procedures can be printed out via a UBF port using any conventional printer.
