The DL2000 data manager from Beckman Coulter operates in conjunction with laboratory information systems to improve workflow and patient test result management. The data manager enables labs to consolidate test information from various instrument systems and manage the data in real time. Utilizing the DL2000, operators can control multiple lab processes, from sample tube identification to test result validation. The software helps reduce opportunities for medical errors and improves patient safety. The DL2000 also helps to eliminate processing delays, and enables laboratorians to focus on critical patient results.
The DL2000 features software that interfaces with the companys Power Processor automation system, as well as the companys COULTER® LH 750 and COULTER LH 500 hematology analyzers, SYNCHRON CX® and SYNCHRON LX® series chemistry analyzers, the Access® family of immunoassay systems, Array® 360CE system, Paragon CZE® 2000 clinical capillary electrophoresis system, and IMMAGE® immunochemistry systems. A single DL2000 unit can link as many as three Beckman Coulter systems.
