Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide Monitor

For neonatal and adult critical care units

productThe TCM40 monitor simultaneously measures patient ventilation and oxygenation status. The unit provides continuous and noninvasive monitoring of oxygen and carbon dioxide, along with oxygen-saturation levels. Measurements are made through two separate sensors. One sensor measures SpO2, while the other determines tcpCO2. The use of two separate sensors ensures that the SpO2 is measured continuously, even when the transcutaneous electrode is being calibrated.
Results are obtained via the system’s SmartHeat™ and SmartTrend™ programs, which are unique to Radiometer. SmartHeat stabilizes transcutaneous values by increasing electrode temperature by 1° during the initial 5 minutes of measurement. SmartTrend uses a unique algorithm to improve the stability of measurements, ensuring that they reflect true physiological changes in patient status.
