Lactate (lactic acid) is now part of the liquid Multiqual® chemistry control. Liquid Multiqual is made from human serum and is designed for multiple methods and instruments. The control helps detect changes in assay performance, thus improving the quality of results.
     Liquid Multiqual has a 3-year shelf life and is available in assayed and unassayed versions, with 3 mL and 10 mL fill sizes, respectively. Both versions are available in three separate levels.
