HPV High-Risk Positive Controls

Can be stored at room temperature

The OptiQual™ HPV high-risk positive controls allow researchers to compare results of both qualitative and quantitative tests for the detection of human papillomavirus DNA (HPV DNA). The controls consist of human cells containing HPV type 16 DNA in 4 mL, and are stored at room temperature. This independent set of external controls enables users to evaluate and compare new nucleic acid test procedures for HPV DNA. OptiQual HPV high-risk positive controls also can help clinicians demonstrate assay proficiency and reproducibility within the laboratory environment, as well as monitor the performance of their assay.
