Thermo Electron Corp now offers its Forma® 1400 Series class II A2 biological safety cabinet. Ergonomically designed, the cabinet features an angled front and a large sash opening for user comfort. Setup and cleaning are simplified with the system’s motor-driven, sliding sash and hinged cabinet front. Glass sidewalls and a white interior rear wall brighten the work area while minimizing glare and eyestrain. A push-button-controlled sash automatically stops at a safe 8- or 10-inch working height for convenience, quiet operation, and depth of reach. The system’s self-controlled motor technology automatically maintains constant airflow as filters load. Unit accessories include a UV light design for improved irradiation and extended bulb life, as well as a motor-driven adjustable stand for easy height changes.
