The rabbit monoclonal antibody (RabMAb) technology from Lab Vision Corp combines monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies to provide increased sensitivity without loss of specificity when compared to mouse monoclonal counterparts. RabMAbs also permit 5- to 10-times higher working dilutions in routine use on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Staining is obtained in some instances without the use of antigen retrieval due to the robustness of the RabMAbs.
     The company’s line of RabMAbs includes breast cancer markers, such as anti-ER (clone SP1), anti-PR (clone SP2), and anti-Her-2 (clone SP-3) antibodies. Lab Vision’s RabMAb SP clones are available in supernatant and ready-to-use formats.
