Calibration-verification assessment (CVA) is the company’s calibration assessment and hematology linearity kit with appropriate WBC, red blood cell/hemoglobin (RBC/Hgb), and platelet concentrations for calibration of three-part and five-part hematology instruments. CVA tests the extreme upper and lower limits of an instrument’s reportable range. This assures the user that abnormal patient results are valid. Instrument-specific assay values are provided for WBC, RBC, hemoglobin, and platelet parameters for immediate instrument-calibration verification. No lengthy calculations are required to obtain expected values.
