The process/embedding cassettes are available in 16 colors for easy identification of samples, institutions, or pathologists. The cassette’s acetal copolymer plastic and heavy wall construction ensure that it will not float during processing, and that it will resist solvents and reagents. Capsette™ cassette bases accept standard stainless-steel lids and feature efficient holes for solvent flow and drainage. Uni-Capsette™ cassettes provide easy opening and closing tops that stay sealed during processing. Both Capsette and Uni-Capsette cassettes offer large surface areas for identification, and are accepted by automatic cassette labelers.
