A new line of replication competent adenovirus-free control adenoviruses is now available from MP Biomedical LLC’s Qbiogene division. The ready-to-use viruses express either a CMV-driven reporter gene (LacZ or GFP) or no transgene (negative control), and are extensively tested, purified, and titered. The company also offers custom-made RCA-free recombinant adenoviruses as well as a proprietary RCA screening test that detects RCA levels down to the FDA’s recommended limit.
