BrandTech Scientific Inc has released the new Dispensette® HF, which dispenses Hydrofluoric acid in concentrations up to 52%. The SafetPrime™ Valve allows air bubbles to be purged from the system without dispensing, which reduces spurting during priming and saves reagent. Additionally, the safety discharge system reduces the risk of inadvertent dispensing if the discharge tube is improperly mounted or missing, and the polypropylene discharge tube safety screw cap helps protect against reagent contact and is easy to attach and remove with gloves. The fluid path contains no glass components. When used correctly, the dispensed liquid comes into contact with the following chemically resistant materials only: Al203 ceramic, ETFE, PFA, FEP, PTFE, and platinum-iritidan.
