The Tissue-Prep Reagent™ set kit by Scigen allows users to select from a variety of reagents and embedding media for specific tissue processors. Scigen builds and delivers the custom solution in one box. The kit, approved to work on all tissue processors, is designed to save time and money, and cuts down on the amount of inventory in a lab. Users can choose from phosphate-free 10% NBF, zinc formalin, buffered alcohol, bouin solution, reagent alcohol, isopropyl, xylene or xylene substitute clearing agents, and embedding medium at 50–54ÞC or 56ÞC melting points. Scigen combines any four of these choices. The system is 100% leak-proof and takes up 70% less lab-storage space.
