The pinkCLEANUP™ kit by Genotech is based on the company’s pinkRESIN™, a proprietary binding matrix for the isolation of DNA. pinkRESIN has an enhanced binding affinity for DNA, allowing easy resuspension. The pinkCLEANUP™ kit removes salts, enzymes, unincorporated nucleotides, radiolabels, and primer-dimers from any DNA preparations of 100 bp to more than 20 kb. Applications for the kit include PCR clean-up; purifying DNA fragments after in vitro labeling reactions; removal of restriction enzymes from plasmid DNA prior to in vitro transcription; and cleaning DNA preps.
