The LWS 50x Infinity PLAN objective creates parallel light waves exiting the objectives beneath the head without spherical aberration or loss of parfocality. In addition, resolution, contrast, and clarity are claimed to be better on Infinity systems as compared to DIN systems. All current Nikon and Olympus lab microscopes feature Infinity systems. LWS now offers an “apple-to-apple” microscope with its M5 Infinity LabScope and the new 50x Infinity Plan oil objective. The Infinity logo () is printed on the side of all Infinity objectives.
