R&D Systems’ LeukoReduced RBC and PLT controls are bilevel controls designed for the monitoring of flow cytometer and Nageotte Chamber methods for quantification of residual leukocytes in LeukoReduced red-blood-cell and platelet products. The WBC target values for the levels are: level 1 = 2.0 uL and level 2 = 20.0 uL. Leuko Reduced RBC/PLT has a closed-vial stability of 75 days with an open-vial stability of 30 days or 21 thermal cycles. LeukoReduced RBC/PLT are packaged separately or available in a combination pack. The vial fill size is 3 mL. A comprehensive quality-control program, which includes a peer-group analysis, is available online and provides Internet access for data submission and report retrieval.
