Duramark now carries a full line of mobile units that can keep laboratory specimens frozen, refrigerated, incubated, or at room temperature. These portable units can be used in a 12-volt DC vehicle plug or a standard office power plug (110 volts AC). Special battery-saving circuitry ensures that the unit will not drain the vehicle’s battery. Various sizes are available from smaller 18-quart units (18 x 12 x 16 inches) to very large 110-quart sizes (31 x 20 x 22 inches). Additional options are available, including insulated covers, visible temperature alarm units, and temperature data loggers. These durable units are designed for convenience and cost savings.
