Carousel Medical Systems Inc has announced a new line of benchtop, space-saving devices. The carousel features new positive lock stops at 0°, plus a smooth linear movement. Once secured to the countertop, the carousel allows key operators and service personnel easier and safer access to the rear and sides of the Beckman Coulter LH500®, saving time. Service personnel can access the instrument more easily, and have the instrument up and running in less time. The instrument can be moved forward and backward on 3¼4-inch stainless steel rails, and then rotated 180° in either direction for repairs, service, or routine maintenance. The carousel is available in a variety of widths to accommodate the most cumbersome benchtop equipment. In-house support personnel can finish the installation in 20 minutes. The surface is stain-, acid-, base-, fungal-, and bacteria-resistant.
