The new BIOMIC V3 microbiology system introduces rapid-batch entry for automated reading and interpreting of disk-diffusion tests and ID panels (API, RapID, Crystal) using color digital-imaging technology. A two-way laboratory information system connection and bar coding allows reading of up to six tests per minute for highly accurate and standardized results. BIOMIC V3’s expert system is based on the latest human and animal health CLSI (NCCLS) guidelines.
