The AbbottLink™ system uses advanced technology to transmit critical operational and administrative information over a secure Internet connection, enabling proactive, problem resolution to maximize instrument uptime. With AbbottLink, instrument data logs, files, maintenance records, calibrations, and other key performance metrics can be transmitted. The system also captures test-count information, helping labs to manage costs and billing administration.
     AbbottLink is available for use on the company’s AxSYM® and ARCHITECT® family of automated instruments. A scaled-down version of AbbottLink, which captures only test-count information, also is available for the Aeroset® and select Cell-Dyn® instruments.
