The YSI 2300 STAT Plus™ is used in clinical laboratories around the world to measure whole-blood glucose and/or lactate. In 1 minute or less, the analyzer measures glucuse in whole blood, plasma, or serum precisely and accurately. It can also be configured to simultaneously measure glucose and lactate in whole blood or plasma. The analyzer requires a small sample size and is reliable at low glucose concentrations, making it practical in neonatal applications. YSI’s immobilized enzyme-electrode technology eliminates most of the interferences that plague other methods. Calibration is automatic, so the analyzer is always ready.
