Kleenguard A10 Lab Coats from Kimberly-Clark Professional, Roswell, Ga, are made of a lightweight, breathable, spun-bonded polypropylene fabric. They provide light-duty protection against dirt, grime, and certain nonhazardous dry particulates. These white lab coats adhere to ANSI/ISEA 101-1996 sizing standards and are available in sizes ranging from large through 3X-Large. The coats have snap fronts and are available with elastic or open wrists and a chest pocket or no pockets.

Diagna Pak-AMB

Convenient and inexpensive

Infekta Packaging International, Lake Forest, Ill, has introduced a low-end, cost-effective shipper for the transport of ambient diagnostic/biological substance category B medical specimens. Called Diagna Pak-Amb, it features a patented 7½-inch-x-11-inch polybag inner that is 95 KPA tested. Each bag has the required absorbent already laminated to the inside walls, thus eliminating the need to add absorbent strips to control spillage. Insert the medical sample into the bag, seal the adhesive closure securely, insert paperwork into the heat-sealed pouch on the back side of each bag, and insert the sealed bag with the sample contents diagonally into the preprinted outer shipping box. Each bag fits corner to corner in the box and suspends the sample to help reduce impact during shipment.
