Shaking Water Baths

Can switch from orbital to reciprocal mode

Designed to provide optimal oscillation flexibility for a wide range of temperature-controlled protocols, the new shaking water baths by Boekel Scientific, Feasterville, Pa, can be operated in either orbital or reciprocal (linear) mode simply by changing the orientation of the tray. Speeds are adjustable from 20 to 200 rpm in 1-rpm increments, and a choice of trays and racks are available to accommodate a variety of flask and test tube sizes. Boekel Scientific also offers a line of general-purpose water baths that can also be used at higher temperatures as a boiling bath. All Boekel water baths feature a programmable timer, a PID controller, rapid heat-up, and excellent stability. A three-point factory-programmed temperature calibration ensures accurate control (±0.1°C) throughout the entire operating range. All units have a seamless, passivated stainless steel tank and an adjustable safety cutoff, and come with a 2-year parts and labor warranty.
