Helmer, Noblesville, Ind, offers a new line of 11-cubic-foot refrigerators with a compact footprint that may be useful when space is limited or a smaller capacity is needed. They are available in i.Series and Horizon series lines and in blood bank, laboratory, and pharmacy models. The 11-cubic-foot model features a 29% smaller footprint than the 20-cubic-foot models. Blood bank models offer a storage capacity of 120 blood bags. The units provide features of the company’s larger models such as bacteria-resistant powder coating, chamber-temperature uniformity, dual-pane glass doors, and Sure-Seal door closure. Storage options include drawers, shelves, and rollout baskets. All i.Series models feature the i.Center integrated monitoring system for security and monitoring.
