A global healthcare technology company, CompuGroup Medical (CGM), Phoenix, is continuing its efforts to help mitigate the spread of covid-19 by bringing its annual CGM LabDAQ User Conference to a virtual setting.

CompuGroup Medical US (CGM US) is holding its annual CGM LabDAQ User Conference throughout the month of October. Centered around the company’s laboratory information system, the conference helps laboratory technicians, lab managers, and other specialists better use CGM LabDAQ to create a laboratory that runs as effectively and efficiently as possible.

After monitoring the progress of the global pandemic across the country, CGM US decided to turn this year’s gathering into a virtual event.

“The safety and well-being of our clients and staff are our top priorities,” says Senior Events and Marketing Coordinator Jill Courcier. “We didn’t want to cancel the conference because clients always offer such positive feedback, so this year we decided to go virtual in order to deliver the great learning opportunity that CGM LabDAQ users have come to expect.”

“In unprecedented times such as these, I am especially thankful for the opportunity to meet with clients safely and remotely,” says General Manager Carl Smith, Lab Division, CGM US. “CGM LabDAQ is one of the best tools that a laboratory has in its toolbox, and our expert staff have prepared many outstanding, interactive presentations to help clients learn even more about the system, the CGM LabNexus web portal, and HL7 integration.”

During the CGM LabDAQ Virtual User Conference 2020, users will log in to interactive presentations regarding the latest software features, HL7 applications and tools, the future of the industry, tips for getting the most out of the CGM LABNEXUS web portal, and more.

“I am looking forward to meeting clients that I have not yet worked with and catching up with ones I have,” Application Integration Engineer Rob Nelson says. Nelson will host a session presenting CGM LabNexus Laboratory Outreach Solution. “The CGM LabNexus presentation will offer a learning experience with tips and shortcuts to help labs improve their workflows.”

The CGM LabDAQ Virtual User Conference 2020 takes place throughout October. Users may continue to register for sessions throughout the month.

Found in virtually every clinical laboratory environment including physician offices, clinics, reference laboratories, and hospitals, CGM LabDAQ connects labs to analyzers, third-party software, healthcare providers, reference laboratories, and more. CGM LabDAQ offers a scalable lab management solution with data mining, inventory management, and other functionality to reduce the time spent on administrative tasks and maximize a laboratory’s efficiency and profitability.
