Radiometer/Photometer with Interchangeable Sensors
Can satisfy nearly any lab, life-science application

Spectronics Corp, Westbury, NY, offers the AccuMAX Series of digital radiometers/photometers, which provide accurate readouts for UV irradiance, visible illuminance, and luminance light readings. The readout units are specially calibrated for use with a full line of interchangeable sensor detectors. When equipped with a sensor detector, the AccuMAX readout unit can reportedly satisfy nearly any laboratory or life-science application, including fluorescent inspection and UV dosing. Single-wavelength sensor detectors are available in both standard range and extended range. The standard range provides UV readings from microwatts to milliwatts and the extended range provides measurements from milliwatts to watts. All sensors are ideal for checking the intensities of fluorescent UV tubes and HID UV bulbs. AccuMAX meters are microprocessor-controlled with software-driven functions. The readout unit has user-customized settings to work with a wide variety of interchangeable sensor detectors. All detectors can be conveniently connected directly to the readout unit or by a standard USB cable. Powered by two 9-volt alkaline batteries (included), the readout unit is lightweight and portable with a large, easy-to-read LCD screen.

RX Series of Clinical Chemistry Analyzers
Quality results at every phase

With its RX Series of four clinical chemistry analyzers, Randox Pharma Services, Crumlin, Ireland, offers a world-class test menu enabling the avoidance of costly outsourcing of routine safety testing, while allowing control of the entire process. Randox’s analyzers are suited to each phase of development, from preclinical to high-volume trials, ensuring continuity and reliability throughout. The smallest of the series, the RX Monza, is a semiautomated clinical analyzer ideal for low-throughput testing in clinical, research laboratories, and specialized clinics. The RX Daytona is a compact benchtop fully automated clinical analyzer with a throughput of 180 photometric tests and 270 ISE tests per hour. The RX Imola is a fully automated and random-access benchtop analyzer capable of performing 400 photometric tests and 240 ISE tests per hour. The latest addition to the RX Series is the RX Suzuka. The RX Suzuka is a fully automated random access analyzer capable of carrying out up to 1,200 tests per hour, including ISEs; this system provides increased efficiency and productivity. Each system requires only a small sample volume, which conserves valuable sample. Reagent volume required is also low, reducing cost per test.
